The national money order is a payment order in Colombian pesos, on behalf of a particular beneficiary or a company, issued by the companies allied with the official postal operator.

The Postal order or money order implies the conclusion of an agency contract whereby the payer gives instructions to the mandatary to make available to a third party an amount of money. This is a transference of money from one place to another.

In order to make a national Postal order, you must bring the money in cash and the corresponding fee for the service must be paid in the agency where the service is requested. The delivery of the money is made to the addressee in the agency requested by the sender; this agency must be included within the network of offices established for this service.
